Elizabeth arrived from London for her boudoir photoshoot at Tring station on a bright and cold January afternoon. After sending Elizabeth some examples of my boudoir work she picked out her favourites so that I could tailor her photo session in advance. We included some looks that were inspired by yoga poses to show off her flexibility and bendy back!
We started off with bright, light and pretty pin up style photos with a vintage feel. Elizabeth had brought some fabulous 50’s style underwear from Top Shop. It’s well worth checking out their lingerie department! The second half of the session had a completely different moody feel. The lighting and lingerie got darker and more sultry… those dark, moody pictures are often my favourite!
Elizabeth is now trained to teach Bikram Hot Yoga. After seeing how amazingly toned she is I decided to practise Bikram Yoga too! It really is incredible for toning, slimming and strengthening without adding bulky muscle. As a 5′ 4″ inch woman I’m wary of adding bulk to my small frame. Its brilliant for increasing your flexibility and apparently good for detoxification (especially if you practise in a heated studio). It increases lung capacity, deep breathing and helps focus the mind can help with depression.
