I love creating artistic boudoir photography. Whether it is light and playful with a cheeky edge (like my pin-up work) or dark and sensual I think it’s important to keep it tasteful, elegant and flattering. I think being a female boudoir photographer helps as I understand how women want to look. I also avoid gimmicks. I have seen some tacky, unflattering photography posing as ‘boudoir’ and I feel women deserve better!

I used some dramatic lighting for these photos of Jade. I love playing with light and shade, I think it gives the images a dramatic Film Noir Hollywood look. I like to inject variety into my work and avoid doing the same thing day in and day out.

I asked Jade how tall she is as her legs look amazingly long in this photo… she said she is just 5ft 2 inches! It’s amazing how with the right pose and lighting you can transform the way you look whether it’s adding inches to the length of your legs or taking away inches where you want it taken away(!)

If you are interested in having this type of photography at my Hertfordshire Boudoir studio get in touch! My studio is just 10-15 mins away from Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring.
